I want to straighten my teeth the old fashioned way with braces, but i want porcelain crowns over my old fillings or to replace old fillings with porcelain crowns. should i get the porcelain crowns before the braces or after the braces, or is it something that can be done while the braces are on my teeth. also i have been told by some friends that i could strighten my teeth with porcelain veneers but i have seen those with them on their front teeth and their teeth look like horse teeth to me is veneers better than crowns or are they just the same thank u

what is the cost of six month smiles

I am exploring the options open to me for having my very overcrowded teeth straightened. An option is in which I am very interested is the six month smile. I would like to know if this is a suitable option for a 39 year old as I had heard that teeth cannot be straightened as you get older? I am also curious about the cost. My investigations so far have just said it’s cheaper than standard straightening treaments but I’d really like a ball park figure if it is suitable for someone of my age.

i want to improve my top set of teeth

My job involves being photographed at events quite a lot and im always being told I look miserable, probably because I don’t like my smile. Can i straighten my teeth after thumb sucking

I am 16. I have been told i can’t have braces to straighten out my front teeth after years of thumb sucking. It has left a gap between them and it upsets me that i can’t get them straight unless i have surgery to correct them. I’m not prepared to do this. Is there any hope at all for me?

Hello Dr Bohara, I am really nervous about having my teeth fixed but they also cause me a lot of embarrassment, my front 2 teeth stick out and they are yellow will the inman aligner help me and does the inman aligner hurt also does teeth whitening hurt, is it possible to have anaesthic for teeth whitening or sedation so i can be alsleep during the teeth whitening I have read that some people get sharp pains during teeth whitening. thanks

My front teeth are thin with acid erosion from an eating disorder

My two front teeth have been eroded and thinned (thick at the gum then really slim down at the bottom) due to acid erosion caused by years of an eating disorder. Now those days are truly well behind me I am left with a reminder when I see these two eroded front teeth, which I am becoming more and more self conscious about. The two teeth either side of these face forwards so I presume would need re-allighning, however the rest of my teeth are in pretty good nick and form a good shape / curve. What would you recommend to sort these 4 teeth out, and roughly do you know how much it would cost, and could you recommend anywhere in London, many thanks.
