Would it be cost effective to have dental implant treatment abroad?

Monday, June 14th, 2010
Q.
In some countries they offer dental implants on 1 or 2 visits. I thought you had to have healing time of 4-6 months. I live in Jersey CI and wondering if it is cost effective to have treatment abroad.,

Friday, June 11th, 2010
Q.
MY DAUGHTER IS 15 YEARS OLD AND HAS BEEN TOLD THAT THE TWO LARGE MOLORS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE LOWER JAR HAVE NO ADULT TEETH AND SHE KEEPS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH BAB Y TEETH AND THEY WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED BUT WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED WITH EITHER IMPLANTS OR A BRIDGE OR DENTURES SHE HAS ALSO BEEN TOLD THAT SHE HAS RATHER A SMALL JAW AND IT SITS FURTHER BACK THAT IT SHOULD. WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND FOR LONG TERM. SHE IS VERY FRIGHTENED BY THE THOUGHT OF ANY SURGERY AND HAS REQUESTED TO HAVE A BRIDGE FITTED I PERSONALLY THINK THIS IS NOT THE BEST OPTION AND READING VARIOUS ARTICLES REGARDING TOOTH IMPLANTS THINK THAT THIS IS THE BETTER OPTION CONSIDERING HER AGE ETC,

I want surgery to fix my bite, how do I go about looking into things?

Friday, May 14th, 2010
Q.
I have mandibular prognathism, which has given be an open bite. I was seen by max-fax about 10 yrs ago and they did not think it warranted surgery. I really do not like it and I feel that aesthetically my appearance would be improved if I had it done. I havent seen anyone else about this since and was wondering how I can go about looking into things again? Thanks,

A question about dental veneer statistics

Monday, March 22nd, 2010
Q.
Are dental veneers popular? Do you know how many veneer procedures your surgery has performed in the past year? Or do you know generally how many people per year choose this treatment? just an estimate would be great,

Can I get treatment for tooth gaps on the NHS?

Monday, February 22nd, 2010
Q.
Hello I have spacious gaps between my upper teeth and also quite a big overbite. According to an orthodonist I recently saw, he said invisalign may work for me, but I am border-line surgical in terms of my overbite. This is worrying to me as it seems it may not just be a cosmetic problem anymore, is there any way I can get this done on the NHS? If not, what options do I have?,
