I would like to get a gap in the front of my teeth closed

Hi Doc, I would like to get a gap in the front of my teeth closed, i was asking questions to my dentist and he advised me to get the gold slit fitted due to the fact that my gap is wide, its about half a centemeter ( 0.5) & Thats wide and i would like to be able to smile alot more. Please help with infomation about whom is the best person to get this done with and what would be the Costs, i have read about the veneers but it will leave you having to change the whole look of the front and thats not what i want, i just want to be able to smile and without me having to change the look and shape of teeth that are not affected. i guess thats because it will be costly. Please help as i want this done urgently.. i will kindly await your response, adam

I have been advised I am not suitable for Invisalign

I have been advised I am not suitable for Invisalign or the 6 month smile treatment to treat an overbite. I do not consider metal braces for 2.5 years as an option. Are there any other treatments such as Invisalign that can be looked into? Also would it be an idea to have another consultation with another Invisalign or Clearstep partition?

Hello I have recently just had four crowns put on my front four teeth but unfortunately I dont like them at all, is it possible to have them removed and to have new crowns put on and also is it possible to put the 6 month smile braces on crowns as i need one of the teeth at the front moved forward or is it possible to have the crowns removed and then to have the braces put on. I used to have severely protruding front teeth

I used to have severely protruding front teeth and had my first brace fitted when I was 9. My treatment was finally completed when I was 12. However I am now 20 and although my teeth are still relatively straight since my wisdom teeth have come through they seem to have pushed my front teeth forward. I’m quite conscious and don’t want to go down the route of fixed metal braces again and therefore I am wondering what other choices of treatment are available? Thank you.

Dear Dr Kailesh Solanki I am 32 and am looking into straightening my teeth, my problem is that my front 2 teeth go slightly in and and a tooth that sticks out a little. When I was youngerI only had the wire brace which did very little. I have been to a consultant in Hounslow and have been quoted £3800, is this reasonable for damon braces treatment time of 2 years? I want to straighten my teeth the old fashioned way with braces, but i want porcelain crowns over my old fillings or to replace old fillings with porcelain crowns. should i get the porcelain crowns before the braces or after the braces, or is it something that can be done while the braces are on my teeth. also i have been told by some friends that i could strighten my teeth with porcelain veneers but i have seen those with them on their front teeth and their teeth look like horse teeth to me is veneers better than crowns or are they just the same thank u
