damon braces for straightening my teeth

Q. Dear Dr Kailesh Solanki I am 32 and am looking into straightening my teeth, my problem is that my front 2 teeth go slightly in and and a tooth that sticks out a little. When I was youngerI only had the wire brace which did very little. I have been to a consultant in Hounslow and have been quoted £3800, is this reasonable for damon braces treatment time of 2 years? Many thanks

A. The cost of damon braces is about right, there are other options such are invisalign, have you explored these???. hope this helps

Hi, I am 47 female and had Damon fitted in June 2008. I too had front teeth going quite severely inwards and two next teeth twisted. Apparently very common in Europeans. I am five months in treatment and already teeth are in place. My orth used auto cad. Treatment is expected to be 12-15months in TOTAL!! due to the help of auto cad. I live in Surrey 25 minutes from Hounslow Cost £4000.00 worth every penny!!

Good-morning, I had 2 molars extracted from the bottom, 2nd from my last teeth on opposites sides of my mouth. After a while the teeth right above them started lowering. A place called Brace place says that with their treatment they can also can move the lowered teeth back up. I was wondering you Damon system can do the same and also push teeth down

Timothy Says :

Teeth will continue to move if they are out of contact with other teeth. Orthodontics or implants are probably going to be your solution.

Should I pick the Damon method over the other traditional methods? Is it a superior process?

Damon is a good product but so are many others. Consult with your dentist to decide which is the best type of braces for your situation.
