I am 22 and want to have my decayed teeth removed and replaced with dentures. How much would it cost?

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010
Q.
Hi, I am 22 years old and i was wondering if i would be allowed dentures. All of my back teeth are badly decayed. And i think quite infected. Is it a stupid idea having them all taken out and replaced with false teeth at my age? and how much would it cost? ,

Can I get veneers done on the NHS?

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010
Q.
Hello, Is it wise to get veneers? I am with a private dentist and really want them done as I am only 21 and have awful teeth with a big noticable gap between my two front teeth. I have got to the point where I dont like to smile in public. My dentist tells me I should have the procedure done at such a young age. Would I be able to get it done under the NHS as i feel its causing me psychological trauma?,

Two dentists have told me two different things concerning my tooth. Who do I believe?

Monday, August 23rd, 2010
Q.
I had a infection in a tooth I was given some antibiotics and was told i needed a root canal filling (?) by a private dentist. I then went to see a NHS dentist who told me that the tooth was fine and it did not need a filling… both took x-rays of the tooth? I have no pain at the moment so who do I belive.. regards,

I’m unhappy with my new crowns, they’re not at all like imagined they would be. Am I stuck with them?

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010
Q.
I’ve always wanted to have my smile improved and decided that after many years i would look into getting my teeth crowned, i had chipped, discoloured and filled teeth all along the front row. I eventually had the work done but im not happy with the overall result, they’re not like I imagined they would be, they’re more yellow than white, they’re too big and the finish along the gum line is ‘chunky’. Apparently that’s because they were NHS and not private, surely this should not make a difference and I shouldn’t have to accept this. Can they be improved or am i stuck with them ? I’d appreciate your advice.,

Will I have to go private to get braces?

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010
Q.
hi there im 20 yrs old and i have a gap between my two front teeth on the top row. and either side i have two teeth missing as i never got my second teeth, they never came thru. and have been told id have to pay 4 a brace privatley. is there no way id be able to pay it off in instalments as i think a brace is very exspensive, and i do not work i am a full time mum. i think i should be able to have it on the nhs as its not my fault about my teeth.,
