Hi doctor moore , i have a fear of dentists from treatments i have had before but do need my teeth sorting, ive lost most of the enamel on my teeth and they just seem to be rotting i work for a low wage and have nhs exempt card but do i have to pay for crowns/capping? just realy expensive these days. thanks rob.

Hi Dr.. I ve chipped my crown quite badly. Now I have to replace all 4 crowns (as they re attached 2 each other) but am confused on the type of materials used. Can you pls explain what is:- 1.non precious material 2.semi precious 3.full procelain Which material has good durability plus looks natural? One of my porcelain crowns became lose how long will tempory cement hold a crown for?

Hi i have 2 porcelain crowns on front top 2 teeth(my own teeth in part are underneath), 1 has become a little lose, my dentist says it’s wobbly but not wobbly enough to fall off(he pulled the crown before he siad this) however when i grip it i can feel movement(slight rock backwards & forwards and a clicking noise) i am about to go on holiday so i am very worried. Please can youy advise if there is such a thing as wbbly but not enough to fall out! p.s how lon will tempory cement hold a crown for? Your reply would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

I broke my front two teeth when I was young and they had to be filed down to be even. I had a root canal on one of the front teeth. Can they be lengthened when the crowns are put on them? There is a space between my top and bottom teeth in the center when I smile.

my lateral incisor tooth is broken it hurts a little when in poke with my tongue can it be fixed

Hey Yesterday I was airsofting when a plastic pelet struck my Lateral Incisor tooth. It crasked the tip taking 1/5 of the tooth off. Also alot of the back of the tooth was taking off. It hurts a little when I poke the back with my tong… What does this mean and can it be fixed? Thanks!

I need four crowns two at the front and two at the back. due to not being fitted properly and they are all edgy and they are hard to keep clean. which are thye better materials for the two back teeth and which are better for the front two teeth? would they bleed if they are fitted correctly? what would be a reasonable cost for these treatments?

Are porcelain fused to metal crowns removable? i wish to have porcelain crown please advise

Are PFM crowns removable? I just got two porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns over my canine teeth but HATE them- they look so unnatural (opaque, color doesnt match the rest of my teeth, thick-looking- I look like I am wearing teeth I got at a halloween store)! I wish I had known porcelain crowns were an option. please advise- I am desperate!
