Hello Dr. Hughes. I’m 15 and I had braces when I was around 13. My story is, my teeth are wonky because I didn’t wear my retainer. However my orthodontist knows I didn’t wear them because I caught chicken pox and it spread into my mouth so I couldn’t wear my retainer. I couldn’t wear them for around 4-5 week because it was to painful. Now my teeth are moving back and they hurt and feel really uncomfortable in my mouth. I was wondering if I could have braces again or even another retainer fitted to fix my problem, would I be able to get this on my NHS? Thank you.

Tuesday, January 14th, 2014I Can’t Sleep As My Tooth Is Really Painful. Do You Know What Is Causing This?
Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013Good morning. I just want to ask how I could release the pain in my tooth because inside my right front tooth it’s really painful I can’t even touch it because it’s so painful and it’s affecting the others sometimes? I haven’t slept all night because of the pain the only way to reduce the pain is when I drink cold water and take Ibuprofen but most of the time it doesn’t work. Do you have any idea why this is? Do I need to see my dentist? Many thanks, I really hope you can help me Dr Gambroudes.

I am in agony with my teeth and painkillers are not helping, what should I do?
Monday, August 20th, 2012Hello Doctor. Do you have any idea what could be causing me to be in such pain? I have had pain in my teeth for 2 weeks on and off but now it’s getting so bad that pain killers are not even working and it’s stopping me sleeping it is also giving me a head ache. I have tried using pain killers but they are now not working at all, which is causing me worry. I have also been using bonjela but this is only taking away the pain for a short while is there anything that I can do to help or stop the pain? as it’s beginning to affect my work and sleep pattern. Thanks.
