I Can’t Eat With My New Bridge In, Please Help!

Hi dr hughes. i had a bridge made which consists of 4 particles in the right upper jaw since three weeks , i can eat hardly on it and i have pain when i drink water, the left upper jaw needs a bridge of 3 teeth and i haven’t had it placed in yet , l fear to do the other side while i still have some swelling in the face and pain on drinking water on the right side that i made since 3 weeks, please i need your recommendation and what may be cause of pain. i don’t know what to do. tried painkillers but not making much difference. i scared that i can’t have the other bridge in if its still hurting. please. any advice is very helpful. best wishes to you

Hi there, thank you for your question. It sounds like it could be something to do with the nerves of your teeth. Please go back and see your dentist as quickly as possible so he/she can assess what the probalem might be or alternatively seek a second opinion immediately. I hope this helps, regards
