Hello i ve been searching the internet for other options on jaw alignment. When i went through my treatment with the orthodontist to straighten my teeth they told me that my bottom jaw was about 1 cm behind my top jaw causing a very noticable overbite which i am not happy with and is affecting my confidence. They told me about this and said easiest and quickest way to fix this was to have fixed braces top and bottom to align my teeth and then after have my bottom jaw broken and moved forward. I really want to sort this problem out but i dont like the idea of this option and hope you know of any other options that could possibly work for me. I think i would get what ever treatment free because im only 17 and still get free NHS treatment until 18 or 19.

Friday, January 11th, 2013Hello Doctor Safeer Butt, I had 4 teeth extracted and my front teeth pushed back when I was younger to correct an overbite that I had. However, unfortunately, ,my teeth have been pushed too far back in my mouth and now they are hardly visible when I smile. In addition to this, the position of my teeth has made my profile not the best looking as it makes my chin way more prominent. Its really upsetting and effecting my self confidence. My question is, is it possible to reverse this and bring the teeth forward using implants and pushing the teeth back forward. I have been to visit my orthodontis about bringing the teeth forward about10 years ago who just said it was not possible to move the teeth back.

Can I have my overbite corrected within a month?
Wednesday, October 31st, 2012Im really unconfortable with my smile and have no conference I have an over bite my top jaw comes more forward and is not in line with my bottom jaw and my teeth are crowded and push inwards and my smile is not wide at all i would love a straight wide smile.I am willing to pay whatever cost but was wandering if they can be fixed within a month using any procedure? Using cosmetic surgery , veneers any thing possible to give me a complete smile makeover
