Dental cleaning costs and location close to Eltham

Good morning, I live close to Eltham and have been looking for a dentist that may be able to help me. At the age of 6 I had a terrible experience with a dentist, when the smell from the gas mask made me panic and the dentist forced me back and then he had to be removed from gagging me by my mother. I have never enjoyed dentist since and had limited visits to them until the age of around 16… I have never been since I am now 42. I suffer little with my teeth and apart from loosing a filing 2 years ago all feels fine, but they dont look fine. They need cleaning, I would like them to be as white as they could be. Will you make me have other treatments done before you will clean them? Could you also give me a guide to the cost so I can compare services? Alot of detail I know…. sorry to bug you with all this info and requests, but i am scared of dentists, I hope you understand. Many thanks….

Advice for teeth straightening in West Wales

I am 32 years old, my teeth at the front top and bottom over lap baddly. I have decay on the gum line and discoloured teeth. I use a phillips sonic tooth brush and all the usual and have for years. I have not looked at my teeth in a mirror for 2 years. 2 days ago I bit a label of a new jumper and a chip came of my bottom tooth! I have asked a number of dentists about straightning my teeth (as they comment that they are bad and why had nothing been done when I was younger) but they tell me I will have to go somewhere else and offer no advice! What can I do about my soft enamel? Where do I go for advice about straightning my teeth? I live in West Wales and dont want to travel to London. Help me please, Thanks

My teeth have now become an off white colour

Hi there, Im 18 years old and lack self confidence due to the effects on my teeth from poor diet and lack of oral hygeine in the past. My teeth have now become an off white colour and have like whiter stains near the tops. i also have a few decaying spots on the top of two of my teeth towards the front. I am so embarrassed about them, i dont like to smile, i have even found myself mumbling when i am talking so that i am not revealing the full extent of my teeth. This is beggining to depress me now especially due to my age, I dont like socialising as much with my friends do due to the embarrasment, this also puts me off visiting a dentist! I am worried of what he/she may think of me. What treatment do you think is required and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am 23 years old my teeth have started rotting

I am 23 years old. I have had 3 children, and during my pregnancies my teeth started rotting, so me being pregnant, thinking I could not help. I did not go. I stopped brushing my teeth for awhile because they would hurt, my gums would be very tender and bleed (they still do). I try to brush my teeth now and I still have the same problem. I have a lot of holes, a missing k-9 tooth, a couple of rotting wisdom teeth, missing moullers. It hurts sometimes no matter what I eat. It seems as though when I chew my teeth are going to just break. I’m so afraid of losing my teeth but I’m afraid of pain and I don’t like to hear my teeth being pulled out, that sounds awful. I know I should go see a dentist and I really want to, but money is always an issue. My credit is awful but I need help so bad. My mouth is falling apart and I’m so sad about this that it almost makes me feel depressed and I don’t like to smile or even open my mouth. I don’t even like to kiss anymore!! 🙁 please help do I still have a chance?
