Iam 29yrs old reside in India what would be the best option to replace my missing tooth

Monday, May 4th, 2009
Q.
Hi, Iam 29yrs old. I reside in India. I had an accident 1 month ago. I lost 1 tooth on the top center and 2 centers on the lower line. It also stuck the other center tooth on the top and one more beside it as well as one on the lower line next to the canine. These are still strong but got a root canal done as recommended by my dentist. To replace the missing tooth what could be the best option. What would be more advisable to do? A bridge or removable dentures? Iam also worried about loosing the bone structure at the spaces of the missing teeth. Will this bone loose lead to the neighbouring teeth getting loose over a period of time? If so how long will that be? Thankyou…

I have two missing teeth is it necessary to have two dental implants for filling the gap in between

Monday, May 4th, 2009
Q.
I have two teeth missing, one extracted over 30 years ago and one three months ago, both on the lower right. The two teeth inbetween the gaps are healthy. My dentist has recommended an implant at the back for the recently extracted tooth. When I appeared content with the price he suddenly announced that I needed two, one for each hole. How do I check this, after all the second gap has been there so long and I dont appear to be bothered by this. £4000 is a lot to pay if you dont actually need it

some of my teeth missing and some are severley decayed and crooked what are my options

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009
Q.
I have had crooked teeth from being a child and due to a bad experience during sedation i refused to visit the dentist. this has been my greatest regret in life. i am now 32 and my teeth are severley decayed with many back teeth missing. my front teeth are extremley crooked and to say this has affected my confidence would be an understatement. i am now so depressed due to my appearence i rarely leave the house and my work is starting to become affected. i need to know what my options are and at what price as money is another obstacle that i will have to address.

I have broken decay or missing teeth what is the best option

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009
Q.
My front 4 teeth are just fine on the top, however the rest on either side are either broken, decaying or missing. What would be my best bet with dentures? Partials, over dentures, or complete upper set?

My mother has dental phobia and we want quick solution for her missing teeth

Monday, March 30th, 2009
Q.
Dear Dr Solanki, I hope that you can help me…. My Mother has always been plagued by dental problems for as long as I can remember, 15-16 years ago many of her front teeth were chipped decayed and rotten, she was scared stiff of the dentist but over time decided to go and get partial dentures fitted. She is now 70 years of age and her one remaining front tooth has just dropped out, she is happy to just leave it now, but it is my Sisters wedding next April, and she is upset that her mother will be toothless in the photos. My Mother is scared of visiting the dentist again, convinced nothing can be done and that it will be painful, and we can’t afford expensive implants or even to redo her dentures. Are there any economical temporary solutions that would be a Happy Compromise for my sisters big day? I would be very grateful if you could advise me. Happy New Year
