my front few teeth are slightly out of place

Thursday, March 19th, 2009
Q.
Hi there, my front few teeth are slightly outta place. It doesn’t bug me as such, but it’d be a great bonus to have them straightened. I don’t want to go down the route of having fixed braces in my teeth for 2 years… Any help?! (I’m hoping for a very optimistic, quick and easy method). Thanks.

can braces be put on when some teeth have not erupted

Monday, March 16th, 2009
Q.
I am losing patients! Please let me know if it is possible to put braces (preferably Invisalign) on a patient who teeth aren’t erupting? My son will be 17 in June 09 and the dentist keeps putting appliances in my sons mouth hoping for his back molars to erupt. It has been almost two years since we started this and he could have had straight teeth by now and for his graduation pictures. Please help!

unfortunatly i took my braces off with tweezers

Monday, March 9th, 2009
Q.
Hello Dr. Suri.I had braces when i was 13(5 years ago). unfortunatly i took them off with tweezers. Many times i had wore them with many brackets that pop’d out my teeth.I also never wore aligners..i’ve notice how my face change during puberty has my motuh seem’d open even when close, and how i was very unhappy how my face seemed to sink.so last 9 months i’ve recieve my invisalign express aligners, thus my orthodontist said my teeth were in good condition, i wanted to finsh what i started. now i’m on my last set of aligners, im extremly unhappy & uncomfortable how my teeth feel and how my mouth looks as if its been pushed back. My question is if i get braces again, would it push my teeth foward or as it was? is there any other appliance that will help on this matter?

it will take 2yrs to straighten my teeth can it be done quicker

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009
Q.
Hi my implant doctor wants to remove 7 molars and add implants then braces for 2 years. That seems like a costy process and lengthy in time. I am 28 yrs old and dont want to wait for straight teeth in 2 years. What should I do? I’m at the point that if they sell or make a grill type invisalign to speed up the process I am willing to do that. Its depressing.

I am currently wearing Invisalign

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009
Q.
Hello ! I am currently wearing Invisalign, and am on tray number 11 out of 13. I am almost done with my case, and while my bottom teeth look perfect, my top teeth do not. The dentist shaved a couple spaces in between my teeth to create room for them to move, and while the spaces are not there very much, the teeth that were shaved are now different shapes. This makes me very self concious. My dentist recommended that I get Lumineers, but after paying 4000 dollars to have Invisalign, and the shaving required changed the shape of my teeth, there is no way I want to pay even more money to have Lumineers for something that my dentist ruined. My main question is, Is there any other way to fix the shape of my teeth WITHOUT getting veneers? I truly do not want veneers, even if money was not an option. If you could please let me know of a solution, that would be awesome. I can not ask my dentist because she will only push Lumineers on me. Thank You !

I was thinking of having the 6 month ortho

Thursday, January 29th, 2009
Q.
I was thinking of having the 6 month ortho and i was wondering if you knew a place where i could have this done. If I go to leicester which is where you are located it would take 7 hours on the train as i live in gloucestershire. Also are there any requirements, I basically have one tooth crown on the right which is slightly in front of the other about 1-2mm, the tooth next to it is slightly back about 3-4mm. So in effect I need the right crown pushed back and the tooth next to it pushed forward. I asked a few years ago if veneers were possible however they said no, at the time though i was on NHS, can pay for it now, no problem with money issues anymore. Hate the thought of braces unless they are invisible, would want the quickest method possible. Any suggestions on a location, any other help would be great. Thanks
