What is the cause for other unit of bridge to feel rough?

Hello Dr Solanki I had a missing tooth at the back of my upper teeth, the front two had previously been veneered some 14 years ago and one tooth next to a front tooth was a crown. I wanted the crown replaced, a bridge to be fitted to fill the missing tooth and the rest of my uppert teeth, which were healthy, to be veneered. The dentist thought it best to replace the whole upper teeth with two seper bridges, one starting from the right front and one fron the left front, a total of 11 teeth. the bridge unit starting from the left is ok , feeling quite smooth, but the other unit feels rough.What is causing this and what would be the remedy, and also, is it wise to file down perfectly healthy teeth to take a bridge? Can I hv aligners for my bottom teeth Plz advice

Hi! i would appreciate your guidance. My bottom teeth have moved over thelast two years,i believe due to me biting down on my back teeth when i am stressed and at the time i went through a personal trauma. I have been to see one harley street authordontist who recomended invisalign. It was completely out of my budget. I have noticed that it has affected my smile,i have a big smile and haave no problem with my confidence but i am growing increasingly upset by my teeth,especially seeing perfectly straight teeth in photos only two years previous. I have just been researching veneers,although i would not like my own teeth removed or ground down to have them. This evening i have just found out about the inman aligner,i am really interested. How do i get advice on what is truly the best option for my teeth? I hope you can help… Regards

Is there anything to match a solid porcelain crown with thin veneers

I have had an all porcelain crown placed on a my front tooth and 3 veneers on either sides. The colour of the crown is slightly whiter than the veneers is this normal? I imagine it is hard to match a solid porcelain crown with thin veneers. Is their any thing I can do to change fix this problem. Thank you.

Any alternative to place temps after removing old crowns and veneers

I am having some old crowns/veneers replaced. I have had a consultation and wax-up. My next appointment is to have my old crowns/veneers removed and temps. fitted. What if I don’t like the temps. Will they be what the permanents are going to be like and will I have any control over the shade and shape etc. at this stage. I always thought that temps were made and you could look at them before old crowns removed and be happy with them before proceeding. I am puzzled. Look forward to your reply

Is there any alternatives for veneers for my darkened front tooth

Hi i’ve got a darkened front tooth, that came out about 22 yrs ago, i pushed it back in myself, it has started darkening over a period of some yrs and is now looking bad especially in photographs where it shows up very bad i don’t like smilling for photos anymore. My last visit to my dentist told me that it was a lack of oxygen getting to the tooth that is the problem but he would not take it out or crown it as it was still healthy otherwise. i would love to get it capped or have a veneer over it but how can i go about getting it done, privately would seem the answer but the cost is off putting, are there any other alternatives to this ? how can i persuade my dentist to do the work for me ? any advice would be good
