Q.
I am currently at the final stage of having dental implants – two implants on either side of a bridge for three missing top front teeth plus a crown for a fourth beside these.I have therefore been wearing a temp.crown and a partial denture for several months. My denture was based on an impression of my original teeth, looks natural and is almost identical to my own teeth.I was delighted with this and expected as good a result with my new permanent teeth. I had my first fitting and although these fill the space they look nothing like my original teeth. My dentist sent these back for adjustment but I am worried that I won’t achieve the natural look of my denture as each set of teeth was based on a different impression. Is it possible to combine impressions so that my permanent teeth look the same as my denture? Sorry this is so long winded. Your opinion would be very much appreciated. Thanks
