My root canal treatments caused me severe infections, what can I do about this?

June, 2009, i had surgery done on #12 and #13. the root canals on those teeth did not work. i also had severe infection which deformed my face and almost went into my eye for a while. Got an x-ray yesterday and infection is still on the top of me two teeth. the endodontist did not prescribe me an antibiotic and i am very tired of getting the run around. what else can i do?,

I have not been able to see a dentist for quite some time now due to financial difficulties. My problem is my front teeth are fine, but I have always had problems with my back teeth. Can you fit a bridge on the bottom set of teeth when you only have 1 tooth available for it to be connected to. After bottom eye tooth on the left i only have 1 other tooth so it makes eating impossible on the left hand side, therefore it puts a lot of strain on my right hand side…… please help.

Can the teeth in my bridges be made bigger as an alternative to dentures?

I have had a front bridge for 20yrs, 4 teeth replaced, now considering replacing with denture to fill out mouth, as lots of shrinkage over the years has resulted in deep lines around mouth, Teeth on bridge now too small for mouth can they be made bigger as an alternative to dentures? I’m 60 yours sincerely.,

What are the options for a very uncomfortable plate?

I was given a general anaesthetic recently and during the pipe being put into or taken out of my throat, two of my teeth were knocked out. The following day, the dental clinic at the hospital removed an exposed nerve. The following week they done impressions, removed the remaining parts of the teeth and gave me a plate. I really can not get on with the plate and find it very uncomfortable. I would like to know what options I have now.,

Is there something I can do to stop the decay?

Hello, at my last visit, my dentist told me that I have a decay where my bridge was put 25 years ago. he said that it is too late to do anything now as the bone is gone (!) , the gum is retracted and the roots are out, I am very concern with that diagnostic and surely there is something to do to stop the decay. I don’t feel any pain apart from when the dentist applies cold air/ water. I can’t afford implants at this moment in time , but can it get worse if nothing is done now ? Thanks for your help. What are the options available in regards to replacing a false tooth?

About 7 years ago I was advised by my dentist to have my front right tooth taken out. I had chipped it a few years earlier and a xray showed that I had fractured my tooth in 3 places as well as the pallet of my mouth. She fitted me with a false tooth on a plate (like a brace). A few years ago I went back as i hate wearing this and she said that she could put a tooth in with wings and glue it in place. Well she made a bodge job and took it straight back out. I’m only 33 and really sick of having this false tooth in as it’s started to drop slightly and I’m really embarrassed about it. I think it’s starting to make my breath smell too. What other options to I have and what are the costs? Thanks Sarah,
