How much would the filling treatment cost if I went privately?

Hi, I have a 9 year old son who has chipped his front tooth. My dentist said he can either do it on the NHS or if I go private he can spend more time polishing and matching the filling. Of course because my son is so upset I want to recieve the best job possible. What should I expect extra for going private?Will i be far less noticeable & durable? I can’t help feel that I’m being taken advantage of and that my son should get good dental care for free.,

Can my toddler have his chipped tooth filled in?

My 18 month old son fell and chipped one of his front teeth last night. There was no bleeding from the tooth or gums that we could see. He did cut his lip a little, but the bleeding stopped in a minute or so. From a cosmetic point, will a pediatric dentist attempt to fill a chipped tooth on a toddler, or is this something we’ll just have to live with until it falls out in a few years? Thanks!,

Can I still get a crown over my chipped tooth?

I finished my root canal procedure about two weeks ago. I was eating and realized my tooth broke. The dentist didn’t advise me that my tooth would be extremely sensitive.I was suppose to go back for a crown eventually. Can I still get a crown over my chipped toth? What do you think the chances of saving my tooth are?,

Can veneer be removed and replaced with better looking one?

I had bonding done 6 years ago on 2 chipped front teeth. Although it still looked good I decided to have it done again because there was some decay setting in. My dentist placed a veneer (unsure what kind) on another tooth next to the bonded one. I think he did it because it had a filling and the color didn’t match with the bonded ones. Unfortunately, I really don’t like the way it turned out. Can he remove the veneer from my normal tooth and how can he fix my smile after the work has already been done,

Would bonding or veneers or a filling help with chipped tooth?

Hi, Can you please advise – is dental bonding the same as a ‘filling’? I have a chipped front tooth and have had it filled by my dentist somewhere around 10 times over the last two years – it keeps falling out. due the dentis ‘chipping’ away at the tooth each time this chip has now become much much larger – resulting in a big gap between my teeth (i feel as though half of my tooth has gone) I have also looked at veneers but am put off due to the fact i think it would be far more noticeable against my other front tooth. could you please advise on this also. What treatment can I get for half broken postero-medially?

I wanted to ask about the options to repair the tooth. 1 week ago, I noticed right upper 1st premolar posterior cusp got half broken postero-medially. I damaged the tooth while brushing. This premolar is without caries. I think using electric brush will help me avoid damage to other teeths. Kindly advise & will like to get it repaired at the earliest. thank you.,
