Can my toddler have his chipped tooth filled in?
Q. My 18 month old son fell and chipped one of his front teeth last night. There was no bleeding from the tooth or gums that we could see. He did cut his lip a little, but the bleeding stopped in a minute or so. From a cosmetic point, will a pediatric dentist attempt to fill a chipped tooth on a toddler, or is this something we’ll just have to live with until it falls out in a few years? Thanks!,
A. I guess he might have to live with it as treating a small child with an adhesive filling can be very difficult
