Q.
I have a small yellow spot in the centre of my front tooth, underneath the enamel i think, and cause by fluorosis i also think. i am 16. is it possible to have something bonded to just that spot on the tooth? or would you need a veneer/crown to cover the whole thing?

I have a wide gap in the front of my mouth. how do i get it closed

Monday, March 30th, 2009
Q.
I have a wide gap in the front of my mouth. About 15 years ago I had bonding to try to close the gap, however, it really didn’t help. over the years, I have inserted tissue to try to fill in the space (I know it sounds crazy!!) I had been in financial bind for so long that i didn’t have the financial resources to solve the problem. Anyway, now it seems the gap may have gotten a little wider with the insertion of tissue. What I wanted to know is would I be able to get the bonding removed and what is your suggestion for the gap. The size of the gap is about the width of the top of a female pinky finger. I’ve never really spoken to anyone about this matter, so I am really ashamed, but I would like to be able to smile more and be confident about my smile. Any suggestions???

Removed the bonding from my teeth, they are now ugly and scratched, can something be dont?

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I recently got my two front teeth bonded to close the gap between them. There was a misunderstanding as I thought the bonding would only be placed in the gap between the teeth and not the surface. To my horror I had a thick layer of bonding placed on the surfaces of both teeth! I was really angry and asked to have it removed. She would not and told me it was not reversible. I removed the bonding myself with a fine nail file. Now I am left with a bunch of scratches on my two front teeth. My teeth were beautiful before all this and now they’re ugly! Is there anyway to get my old teeth back, or have I caused irreversible damage? Note, the scratches are not deep at all, it feels smooth but they look terrible! Please Help.

Is Bonding or braces better for the gaps in my teeth?

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009
Q.
I’m thinking about getting braces for small gaps in my front teeth. However I’ve been doing some research and wondering if bonding would be better. I’m paying out of pocket so I’m trying to save money. Which one do you advice.

is there anything that can be done for mottling on the teeth

Thursday, February 12th, 2009
Q.
Hello, my daughter is 17 in July and ever since her permanent teeth have come through she has had motteling on her teeth (not all of them) just her front ones. She has had treatment and her dentist has tried their best with what they can do but she is still very unhappy, she has never really smiled properly and it isnt until recently i realised just how much this is affecting her. Is there any other treatment she could have apart from veneers (whitening etc). Any advice would be much appreciated please. Thankyou.
