I Have A Gap That Looks Like A Black Triangle Between My Teeth. Is It Best To Use Veneers?

Hi Dr Patel. How do I remove a 1 millimetre gap between my front two teeth? The gap appears to be in an inverted v (^) shape. All the other teeth are normal and are in sufficient size and I am not missing any other teeth. There is no problem with the size of my other teeth. What will be the cost of treatment? Is it is best to use veneers? Please advise me. How can I have veneers without disturbing the normal healthy tooth structure? Is there any other treatment I could consider for this? How can I get rid of black triangles between my teeth?

Dear Mark,
I have black triangles between my teeth where the gum papilla should be. My teeth have gone slightly crooked since I had braces as a teen because I lost my retainer a few years back. I was wondering, I know it’s specific to each case, but is it possible to get rid of black triangles by interproximal reduction and braces? The triangles are relatively small and my teeth are quite rounded, if they were contoured via IPR to make them squarer I think it could possibly close the triangles – however, I’m scared of taking the risk and worsening the problem

I have gaps between my teeth after my brace work has been ‘completed’, what should I do?

Dear doctor,

I am still having my braces on but i noticed holes in where my gums were supposed to be. It looks something like Fig 11 and 13 in this website.

My orthodontist said it is not going to grow back on its own. Is there a type of gum implants or treatment for my problems? Or should i ask for her to push my teeth deeper into the gumline?

My receding gums are better now but there is a black triangle left. What can be done about this?

I have had receding gums in the past. They are healthy now but there is a black triangle where the gum has gone above the tooth. Could I get a veneer to cover the area. Also, do veneers stain and if I had my teeth whitened would the veneers stay the same colour?,

Can anythin be dne about the small holes I have between my teeth and the gum line?

44 year old man. Just got my braces off, only thing i am bummed about is i have small holes at the gum line on my bottom teeth. Can anything be done about this. I just got my fillings changed and the cosmetic dentist said nothing could be done about holes in between teeth at the gum line. :(,
