Can anythin be dne about the small holes I have between my teeth and the gum line?

Q. 44 year old man. Just got my braces off, only thing i am bummed about is i have small holes at the gum line on my bottom teeth. Can anything be done about this. I just got my fillings changed and the cosmetic dentist said nothing could be done about holes in between teeth at the gum line. :(,
A. They are called black traingle and are probably due to the gum shrinkage they can re fill but not always. Sometimes the lower teeth can be thinned a little in width and the braces can close them together a little more to reduce them. I would leave them as they are for now, your lower lip probably covers them when you talk / smile.
