My receding gums are better now but there is a black triangle left. What can be done about this?

Q. I have had receding gums in the past. They are healthy now but there is a black triangle where the gum has gone above the tooth. Could I get a veneer to cover the area. Also, do veneers stain and if I had my teeth whitened would the veneers stay the same colour?,
A. Black triangles are a big problem for cosmetic dentists and there are several solutions depending on the clinical assesment. Correctly contoured Veneers are one part of the solution but they will not whiten with tooth lightening procedures. If you would like a free consultation please contact 0121 643 0610. Rob
