i am 25 is it possible to orthidontically get my baby tooth fixed without a gap or braces

Monday, April 13th, 2009
Q.
I’m 25 and have a baby tooth where my left K9 should be. I have had an xray and found that I do have an adult tooth there however it is on an angle pointing towards my top two front teeth. Is it possible to orthidontically get this fixed without a gap or braces. Is it possible that the adult tooth is moving down or just fixed there and if I got a cap or veneer do I have to get the adult tooth pulled out anyway?

i am 23 years old and i still have several of my baby teeth?

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009
Q.
Hello. I am 23 years old and still have several of my baby teeth. My adult teeth do not appear to be coming in now and I do not have tender gums. I was just wondering if this is something to be concerned about, especially since I heard someone say that if you don’t lose your baby teeth and your adult teeth are underlying then it could later cause decay and blood poisoning. So I am very curious. Thanks for your time.

Baby tooth at fifty, when it falls what should I do?

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
I currently have a baby tooth in the front of my mouth, in the upper row, on the side of the mouth. I am worried when it falls out, I am in my 50’s, what should I do. An implant or false tooth? I really do not want a bridge. What can I do? The tooth has been bonded twice in the past. It is discolored. The other teeth, beside it are whiter.

My son will be 9 years old in couple of month’s time and still there is no sign of any upper permanent teeth

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
When my son was 2 years and 8 months old his 4 front teeth were pulled as his teeth were chipped and yellowish (may be because he was breast fed till he was over 2 years) and during that period he also had a fall from a swing and broke two his front teeth. After that he would complain about the pain. So we took him to the dentist ,took his X-ray and then the dentist advised us that if we leave his Milk teeth those might affect his permanent set and so we had to pull out his four milk teeth. His lower teeth were all good. Well, now my son will be 9 years old in couple of month’s time and still there is no sign of any upper permanent teeth. We had his X rays done and the dentist said that since he still haven’t lost any of his lower milk teeth we have to wait. Just a month ago his lower tooth is bit wobbly and just last week we noticed that another tooth has started to come out at the back of the wobbly tooth. So can you please advise what can be done for this? Will my son get his permanent teeth? Is there any replacement that can be done? Please suggest. Thankyou

I only have 10 permanent teeth The rest are baby teeth

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009
Q.
Hello, I only have 10 permanent teeth. The top front 6 and the front bottom 4. The rest are baby teeth… I have no wisdom teeth, one 12-year molar just commimg in & im 25 years old.. I simply have no permanent teeth under the baby teeth… My dentist is amazed of the condition of my baby teeth.. but I dont want dentures at 30. What do you suggest to keep my baby teeth from rotting??… will they rot??? When I was a teenager they put this nailpolish-like stuff on…but it came off quickly..and reminded me of having popcorn in my teeth. Are veneers a good idea? Thanks

Friday, March 27th, 2009

My daughter turned 6 in January 2009. She has a full set of beautifully cut baby teeth. But when she was 3, the left front tooth bacame ‘grey’ due to a fall. This week though, there is a adult-size right front tooth growing out of her upper gums, way above her baby front tooth. It scares both of us! What is it? What shall we do?
