Monday, March 16th, 2009
Q.
Hi – I saw 3 dentists today regarding inman aligner for my 2 front lower teeth – 2 said it can be done and will be most suitable probably with a bit of rotation, whilst one mentioned that my case maybe on the ‘borderline’ of beng risky (meaning a lot of filing to be done as my crowdedness is intense) – what do you think? please help. thanks

I had braces when I was 16 and had them off at 18

Thursday, December 4th, 2008
Q.
Hello! I had braces when I was 16 and had them off at 18. I am now 20 and my teeth have moved slightly and the no longer are as perfect as they were which is very depressing since I went through countless appointments and discomfort to get them that way! Is there a way that this can be solved without drastic cost or prolonged discomfort? Thank you

Q.
I have been advised that i should think about having an inman aligner, my question is can you have them on top and bottom teeth at the same time and because of the cost I have been thinking of looking abroad, should I remain in the uk for treatment or consider abroad? Also googled the appliance for abroad and nothing showing?

Hi, I would like to ask if fixed lingual braces could be applicable to my case as I am not very keen on labial ones: my problems are: over bite, crowded upper front teeth and upper jaw needs widening. thank you very much!

I’m having Lingual braces fitted tomorrow

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008
Q.
Hi, I’m having Lingual braces fitted tomorrow and am 31. Recently having spoken to my local dentist I am regretting having chosen the lingual option with the Orthodentist (I chose this for aesthetic reasons as my work involves presenting to outside clients etc). He advised that Linguals are no good – is this the case?? Also how can I ease into the Lingual braces quicker as I understand that eating and talking will be harder??

Q.
Hi, I am 21 years old and i have one tooth out of line on the bottom, which makes me very paranoid, and too make things worse i recently chipped it when eating on a metal fork. I just wondered what the option are for me?Would it be bst to have teeth taken out at the back to allow room for the one and the front to fit back in, or would i need a brace??? I understand that this type of treatment in very unlikey available on the NHS as it as seen as purelu cosmetic. I look forwards to hearing fromm you

I hate my crooked smile and misaligned teeth

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008
Q.
I’m 19/20. I absolutely HATE my smile, I have crowded crooked teeth and NEED to get them fixed. I’m terrified of braces and honestly don’t know if I would have the patience to stick with them for 2/3 years! I visited a cosmetic dentist before and he said that I would need 6 veneers on top and 5 on the bottom. However, only 6 of the teeth in my whole mouth are misaligned. I am fine with the colour of my teeth (although they could be a bit whiter!) and the size of them but I can’t live with the crookedness of them anymore!!! Obviously with my age the main issue of dentistry is the money, are there any payment plans that you are aware of? does your surgery support this method of payment? do you have any suggestions or recomendations for me? Thanks so so much

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008
Q.
Hi, As a child i never had braces, but i should have! My teeth are crooked but i have one tooth that sticks out. It has been like this since a child and the dentist said it would grow into my teeth, however it hasnt. Would i be able to have it taken out and a veneer put in? I hate it as it sticks out when i smile and is really noticable. The rest of my teeth i can live with! Please could you advise me what to do and roughly how much it would cost. I have looked at the invisable braces but i dont think i could afford them. Please help. Thank you
