Should my child have her teeth removed?

Q.
My child 4 years old his infront teeth by accident broken the doctor say it must remove .
Is it ok to remove the teeth ?
A.
There should not be a problem to remove teeth if necessary, but please make sure that you know all the facts before this happens. Do ask your dentist to explain his/her findings and if there is any chance to save the teeth.

Calum Says :

My son has very crooked bottom front teeth, which are also apparently overcrowded. We have been told he will need to have one of his bottom front teeth out, leaving three teeth between his canines. is this normal practice, we think it will look odd.

It is acceptable in some circumstances. A second opinion from a registered specialist orthodontist might be worthwhile.
