Should I have a porcelain crown placed on the tooth that had the root canal treatment?
Q. I had a root canal on a front tooth. I is now a little weak and dark. I plan to have lumineers on 6 teeth including the one with the root canal. Should I have a porcelain crown place on that tooth instead due to it’s weakness and slight darkness?,
A. the decision to crown or veneer will mainly be based on the ammount of good tooth that remains. if veneers are thick enough and an opaque base is requested they should mask moderate discolouration. Rob
