Should I get treatment in Turkey or wait until I get home?

Q. I am 62 and on an extended holiday to Turkey. My crown fell out and there is not enough left of the origninal tooth to attach it to. The dentist recommended a bridge be fitted which would cover 2 teeth and 2 spaces in between. I am unsure of this treatment. I only have 5 weeks left before returning to the UK. He has given me antibiotics to take 2 days before root removal. The cost of the treatment including the bridge would be £350. Is there an alternative to this treatment. Must I have the root removed quickly or can I wait till I return to the UK. I know the dentist, I have been to him before and he is reliable, but I am wondering on this occasion if he is giving me the correct advise. I can’t leave the gap as it is next to my eye tooth and you can see the gap when I smile. I would be grateful for any advise you can give me. Thank you,
A. For the quoted price your dentist has given you, I can only assume he is talking about putting in a composite resin bridge – which he may be thinking is just temporarily until you can put in a more suitable and stronger porcelain bridge. A bridge is not a bad option. Your other options would be. A. a denture – which is the cheapest option but is uncomfortable, or B. an Implant – which is your most expensive option which feels the most like a tooth out of all three of the options. It is completely up to you which way you want to go. Perhaps you should speak to your dentist about other options before commencing with the bridge.
