My upper canines are crooked is it possible to have a dental filling or will i need to remove it

Q. Dear Dr Patel Both of my upper canines are crooked, lying flat against the vertical edge of my two front teeth, if you can picture that! I suspect I need a filling in the left canine and plan to visit my dentist soon. However, given that the tooth is so difficult to access, is filling it possible or will it need to be removed? I’m worried as I’m only 30 and have always been known for my lovely smile! Many thanks in anticipation,

A. If the teeth are very crooked some simple orthodontics such as 6 month smiles will straighten your teeth and then the new final filling can be put in.
