my top teeth have moved in that my fluency of speech is being affected your thoughts on this

Q. I’m a trained Opera Singer but my teeth have been moving slowly inwards (so they are slanting inwards) for many years due to having a ill fitting crown fitted. My top teeth in particular have moved in so far now that my fluency of speech is being affected and when I sing I look terrible as the sides of my mouth are pulling in too far. My singing is also being affected enormously (not enough room for my tongue to work properly, the sound is also being trapped too). I saw a local orthadontist but he said that if he moved my teeth the bottom teeth would pull the top teeth in again. Is there any hope for me as I’m going to have to give up any possibility of continuing life as a performer if I can’t straighten my teeth, and after 5 years of training and a great deal of hard work, this would be devastating. I’d be grateful for your thoughts on this. Many thanks.
