my teeth is sentistive i only had a bridge put in a few day ago do you think this will settle down

Q. I had a tooth knocked out next to my front one, my front tooth was very sensitive to hot things and i had to wait before i got a bridge done, this has now been done but my tooth is still sensitive i only had my bridge put in a few days ago, do you think this will settle down?

A. Trauma to a tooth can take upto six months for a normal tooth nerve to recover. In most cases if the symptoms are generally improving over time the tooth should be monitored.
