My Incisors Are Bent And Displaced From Their Actual Position. What Treatment Could Fix This Problem For Me?

Q.
Hello Dr Moore, I wonder if you can help me. I am 18 years old. I have a problem that my two central incisors in the upper half are a little inwardly bent and the two lateral incisors (on both sides of the central incisors) are displaced from their actual position. They have shifted a little backwards in my mouth. I am not able to speak properly because of this and I would like ideas on what would be the best way to fix this problem? I also have a problem in my lower half. One of my canines is displaced backwards. Thank you for listening, I’m just after some information really.

Hi, thank you for getting in touch. This sounds like an orthodontic issue so I would say that a brace would be the best option or veneers if you don’t want to wear a brace. Bear in mind the are many different types of brace and aligner available so consult your dentist and see what he says is the best option as he knows your case better than anyone. Thanks, I hope this helped, Dr Andrew Moore.
