My front teeth one is broken and one is wobbly and what can be done to fix the wobbly tooth?

Q. Hi there dr.andrew moore. i fell over last night my 2 front teeth one is broken and one is wobbly. and other one next to the wobbly one is also broken with nerve showing. my front tooth that is broken got filling done to it and my other broken one with the nerve showing is gonna get a root canal. i just want to ask what is the best way to treat my wobbly one? due to my dr said to leave it and see what will happen to it. i would like to hear other advice. thanks

A. If it is very loose it should be held firm by sticking it temporarily to the adjacent teeth. If it is only slightly loose then it would be best to leave it.

Hi It depends on how wobbly this is and whether this is due to gum disease or a short root. I would suggest you see a periodontist if the former as likely that you may have further gum disease.

Hi I have had conflicting opinions from two different dentists. The first said I definitely had gum disease and te second said I definitely didn’t. Just to be safe I am using special mouthwash and focusing on keeping my teeth clean. Should I go for another opinion? can I do anything in the mean time?

I would recommend you see a specialist called a Periodontist to evaluate your gums

I am a little concerned as my bottom front teeth are very wobbly to the touch and move back and forth very noticably. I am due to have myretainer sent to me, but perhaps I could come and collect it instead and you could take a look. Obviously I don’t want my teeth to fall out so any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hello there, I am looking for a subtle brace- solution for some movement inmy front three left teeth. I have been speaking with dentists about Invisalign but the treatment seems over the top for my barely noticable problem.I would be keen to come in and speak with a dentist about lingual braces. Many thanks,
