My four year old daughters front teeth is growing crooked at 90 degree angle

Q. Hi I have just visited the dentist with my four year old daughter. This was a routine check up but I have had concerns regarding her top front tooth. It is growing crooked at a 90 degree angle. the dentist advised me he is not going to do anything for a few years because og her age. Is this correct? Could this cause any long term problems if it is left this long ? I am just concerned that his reaction is about cut backs.I would value a second oppinion on this please. Thanks

A. Hi

As a rule a child of 4 won’t be suitable for treatment until a few of the teeth have fallen out. Normally the new teeth will come through without the rotation of the baby tooth, saving any unnecessary treatment
