It is difficult to give you an answer without seeing you but I would personally not like to have canine teeth removed I feel they are one of the most important teeth in your mouth.  I have re treated several people of the years who had canines removed and the re-treatment is very difficult and prolonged.  You should ask your dentist why those teeth are being removed and ask for more options.
