My daughter bottom is growing fast is there any other option beside surgery
Q. My daughter has seen an orthodontist for braces and we were told her bottom jaw is growing faster than her upper jaw. The braces are not recommended until surgery is proform after she stops growing to pull back her bottom jaw. She is 12 now. I would like to know if there are other options besides surgery.
A. In these cases to obtain an ideal final result surgery is often the only option. perhaps your Orthodontist would discuss other options in more detail although with these she might not end up with the best possible result
