My baby tooth is lose and my dentist says not enough space for implant. Is bridges an option
Q. I have a baby tooth upper (2nd from front)it has a veneer at front & filling at back and is becoming loose. Dentist has advised not enough space for implant due to technology? – Can see from website implants may be possible? Have been advised to leave it until it falls out then get a bridge. Is a bridge my only option? Have also been advised crown not possible due to root. thanks in advance.
A. You need at least 5-6 mm of space for an implant so accurate x-rays and scans are needed prior to the treatment. If there isn’t enough space then a bridge will probably be the next best thing. You could try an adhesive bridge if possible as these don’t require any drilling back of the adjacent teeth
