My 14 month old fell over and broken his front teeth what can be done to make them look better?

Hi My son fell over on friday and he has broken both his front teeth. he is only 14 months old and the teeth are now quite sharp (like fangs). is there anything that can be done to make them look better? i took him to our dentist but they said there is nothing they can do. A friend has said they could be filed smoother?
A. If your dentist feels that nothing can be done that is probably the case. Treating a very small child is very difficult and can be traumatic for the child. However you may be able do something when he is a bit older.
