Q. Hi i wonder if you could help me, my 1 year old son has sore and swollen gums he has been a little ill now for about a week i recentley took him to the doctors and i was told he had a sore throat and to give him calpol wich i have been doing, but earlier tonight i could see that he was in discomfort so i tried to rub some bonjela into his mouth but it looked to be painfull for him and as if it was stinging him he is showing signs of teething but could this be somthing worse he didnt react to teething this way with his other teeth i would be very gratefull for any advice regarding this thankyou.
