Loose baby tooth dental implants fixed bridges

Q. I have a slightly loose baby tooth next to my upper right front tooth but the other teeth are not in the right place so i would need a bridge for five teeth is this possible and approx how much would this cost?

A. There are 2 permanent solutions to fixing missing teeth – implants and fixed bridges. Nowadays implants are usually the preferred choice as they have a longer life span and do not rely on adjacent teeth. The cost in my practice is from £2600 per tooth. If the teeth are heavily restored then a bridge can be a good option – in my practice bridge work starts from £875 per unit. In your case as you can see a single implant compared to a fixed 5 unit bridge is cheaper. There may be other factors involved and a proper assessment involving a thorough examination, X-rays, photographs and study modes would be required to formulate a detailed treatment plan and an accurate estimate of the costs. At my practice, prior to this comprehensive assessment appointment, we offer an initial free consultation to allow us to find out what your specific needs are.
