Ive two missing incisors and can i just close the gaps and make my canines look like incisors

Q. Hey, im 15 and i have two missing incisors. Its next to my front ones and the canines. So i had braces in 7th grade january and i have spaces there and im moving the roots now. I looked at options until i get my implants and they don’t really look that great… Im kind of depressed and im wondering if this is the right choice for me. I am wondering if i just close the gaps and make my canines look like lateral incisors if that will be the better choice? I heard that i’ll probably need a root canal and a crown to do this? or is there a different option? its high school next year and im so depressed over this. i havent had a girl since 8th grade because the gaps got so big i look like im from tennesee. Please help me? Which is a better option? How long will it take to close the gaps anyway?

A. Its always best to keep the teeth if possible so I guess the best option when you’re young is to build out the canines with veneers to look like the laterals. You need to discuss this in detail with your orthodontist. Good luck Andrew
