Ive an assymetric lower jaw is there any sort of treatment for it

Q. Dr kailesh i have an assymetric lower jaw,it protrudes on the right side of my face.My teeth are also not in line,is there any sort of treatment for me,please reply thank you

A. Any type of misalignment of the jaw- may need surgery to correct. It depends on how severe it is. I would advise you to see a cosmetic dentist to discuss youroptions. Jaw surgery can be quite extensive and intrusive, but can correct your concerns. it is very hard for me to comment as I haven’t seen you in person. If the jaw alignment is only minor- then some orthodontic treatement may help- fixed or removable braces. Hope this has helped.
