It has been 20 years is my crown damaged and likely to break completly?
Q. I have had a crown on one of my front teeth for nearly 20 years,and recently noticed cracks running through it,it appears to be in just the “glaze” is this normal after years of wearing or is my crown damaged and likley to break completly?
A. It is quite common for the veneering porcelain to show stress lines. They may lead to fracture so I would advise that you see your dentist
