Is there any treatment for irritating bridge pain?

Q. “Hello, I recently went to the dentist when my bridge became loose, and was told that one of the teeth under my existing brige needs to be pulled due to a cavity that was in my back wisdom tooth, the dentist filled the cavity and prepared the wisdom tooth for the anchor of my bridge, and proceeded to replace the old bridge with a temp in the inturum, I have major pain on the side of my gum the dentist told me that the gum was irritated (ulcer)from the temp bridge , the pain can get quite bad , I am wondering if there is anything I can do to help the irritation heal quicker..I am rinsing with antibiotic and taking something for the pain helps for alittle while but the pain returns”,
A. A return to the dentist may be a good idea if the discomfort lasts more than 1 week. Rob
