is my dentist right or is he just making more money

Q. I have partial plates top and bottom.i am having the rest done today.am paying £1300 for the dentures in 6 months time but the dentist is saying i have to pay the same again next year.are they right or just making more money.

A. Not sure why you’ll need new dentures again so soon, unless you are having teeth out, the gums will then shrink back and the dentures become loose, necessitating new dentures
