Is it worth getting a crown that only lasts 6 months?
Q. I lost my top tooth. It has had root canal treatment and was also a crown. My dentist says I can have a crown or a bridge. One of the teeth next to it is a veneer. He has sugested getting a implant but I can’t really afford it! There is no tooth left so I just wondered is it worth getting a crown as he said it could only last 6 months. What are the chances of the bone going as I might be able to afford an implant at a later date. What do you think I should do?,
A. Its very difficult for me to tell you the best thing to do, my feeling would be to accept your dentists advice and try to do the best thing that will last at least 5 years or more
