Q. I live in Canada and am about to have a second tooth implant. (the first has been very succesful). My dentist tells me that I will need an 8mm implant post but the largest made is 6mm. He plans to insert the 6mm and wait 6 months for the bone to grow around the post. Is it true that they don’t make 8 mm posts?
