Is it possible to have my teeth whitened before I have my veneer reattached?
Q.
Hi, I was just wondering if you could help me, I have a broken veneer (with a piece missing) at the front which i need replaced but i was thinking of getting my teeth whitening before i replace it, is it possible because of the enamel being gone and if so which process would you recommend, a tray or lazer?

A.
You should have your teeth whitening done before the new veneer is placed. You get good results with both the tray system or surgery whitening. The advantage of the surgery whitening is you see the results there and then. The home whitening system takes around 2 weeks.

If you have veneers can you still have your teeth whitened?
unfortunately you can not whiten your veneers so it would not work on any teeth which has been veneered
