Is it possible to have a gold tooth fitted without an implant?

Q. Is it possible to have a gold tooth fitted without an implant? My upper left four has been removed and i would rather not go to either the pain or expense of having a graft. Thank you.,
A. If the tooth has been removed the only way of doing this without an implant is to use a bridge but this may entail drilling down other teeth.
