Is it possible that I have a dental implant allergy

Q. I have just had a dental implant done and the crown fitted a few weeks ago. A few days after the crown was fitted a started to have a horrible horrible taste in mouth several times a day and antibiotics and mouthwash that my dentist recommended have not made any difference. My dentist insists I do not have an infection and that he has no idea what could be wrong. He did and X-ray and said that it was fine. When I suck on the tooth the tatse fills my mouth. what could it be? the implant is very stable (not loose at all) and I have no pain and no real swelling or inflammation. Could it be an allergy to the implant?,
A. Often a temporary crown is used whilst the implant is integrating – hopefully the temp crown just needed recementing

Have you ever had any instances where a patient was allergic to the bonding material for veneers?

I wear full dentures and want to pay for something more permanent. I have 10,000 available and would like you to advise what treatment i can expect for this cost. I feel allergic to the plastic roof palate and would like to get rid of as much of the plastic gum as is possible. Ideally i would like one jaw to have an implant supported bridge and the other jaw to have an implant supported removable denture with very little plastic gum. is this possible within my price range and if not can you suggest the best possible solution to fit my financial constraints. kind regards

I am under the care of Dr Longman at Liverpool Dental Hospital for allergic patients after having some adverse reactions to bonding adhesives for temporary crowns. As I did not have this problem when fitted with two acrylic temporaries at your practice, is it possible to know which bonding agent was used so that I may make some progress with my assessment

I will need two lomg term temporary crowns for my front teeth whilst a tenderness in the gum of a root canal is resolved. I may need three temporariesand seem allergic to cements except for Aquacem. May i have a rough idea of cost for two or three temp acrylic crowns please?
