Is a crown fitted with a post more likely to last longer?
Q. can you please give information on where a crown is made and a pin is attached on it and is placed inside the root are these procedures long lasting ? and is it different from the normal crown which is placed directly onto the tooth which is filed in order for the crown to sit on,
A. A pin or post is placed into a tooth that has been root filled. It is the last chance to try to save the tooth. Now some people feel a dental implant can be a better longer lasting solution.
