Im suffering from numbness in my gums what could be the problem?

Q. I had 2 veeners fitted 3 months ago i am now suffering numbness in my gum and the tooth dont feel right what could be the problem what should i do?

thanks for your reply
i am unable to go back to the dentist that did the work as i am pursuing with suing them.
my biggest problem is i am terrified to go to another dentist so i suffer in silence i am very depressed.
